The hotel is currently for sale. We reserve the right to cancel future bookings with a minimum 3 months’ notice should the hotel be sold. We hope this will give you the confidence to make your 2024 bookings with us.
Overwater Hall is an entirely non-smoking hotel
High Tea is available in the restaurant at 5.30pm for children under the age of five.
Your room will be ready any time after 3pm on the day of your arrival. Should you anticipate arriving earlier than this, please let us know and we will try to have your room ready for you. We ask that you vacate your room by 12 noon on your day of departure.
Please advise us prior to your arrival if you require a vegetarian menu choice, or have any other special dietary requirements.
We operate a smart-casual evening dress code. No jeans or t-shirts, please.
We accept payment by Mastercard and Visa, but as a small business we prefer cash or your debit card. Thank you.
Your well behaved dog is very welcome to stay in your room at no additional charge.
A deposit of £200 per room is required on confirmation of your booking. A larger deposit may be requested for long stays. In the event of cancellation, this deposit will be refunded only if the accommodation can be re-let (as approved by ABTA)
Cancellation Charges:where a confirmed booking is cancelled and the accommodation cannot be re-let, a cancellation charge will apply on the following scale: More than 2 weeks prior to arrival date: Deposit only Less than 2 weeks prior: the 1st night of your booking will be charged in full. Details of Holiday Insurance are available if required.
