Can we smoke in any of your bedrooms?

No, Overwater Hall is a non-smoking hotel.

Do you open for Christmas?

No, but we do open for New Year .  Given the relatively small size of the hotel,New Year is rather like a house party at Overwater Hall. No organised entertainment, just lots of good food and friendly hospitality. Please ask for details.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

Yes, but please let us know prior to your arrival if you require a vegetarian meal choice. Other special diets can also be catered for, again with prior notice.

Do you welcome dogs?

Dogs are welcome, read more about our dog friendly accommodation 

Do you welcome children? 

Yes. There are several rooms large enough to take an extra bed, and the hotel has a cot, a high chair and a baby monitor for guests’ use. Please note that children under the age of five are not permitted in the restaurant in the evenings, but a high tea can be arranged earlier in the day if required.
